an excessive sweating condition, since his youth. Despite numerous attempts with conventional antiperspirants and creams, the results were unsatisfactory. A severe form of hyperhidrosis especially on his hands, caused difficulties and insecurities in social interaction and professional life. In search of effective treatment options, he began researching hyperhidrosis treatments and came across the promising method of tap water iontophoresis. In particular, the natural, drug-free and non-systemic treatment approach was convincing, since the side effects were minimal in a few cases, apart from slight redness and irritation.

However, this treatment method was hardly offered by dermatologists and physicians, and the devices available at the time were technologically undeveloped and ineffective but still available at exorbitant prices.

These outdated devices caused pain and electrical shocks, which discouraged many affected individuals from considering them as a viable treatment option. Over the course of two decades and with many costly investments in various iontophoresis devices, our founder now uses a device from an electrical engineering manufacturer in Cape Town that meets all requirements in terms of effectiveness, modernity, safety, and ease of use.

Despite advances in device development, the availability and offer of iontophoresis treatment by dermatologists and physicians are still limited. However, we believe that iontophoresis is the safest, most efficient, and gentlest solution for hyperhidrosis compared to alternative treatments.
